A killer compilation from a killer record label...
Giallo Disco Records has always been worth keeping an eye on. Not only is it the home label of the incredible Antoni Maiovvi and Vercetti Technicolor, but it also features both new comers and consummate veterans alike. For example, David Kristian has been active with his Tangerine Dream/John Carpenter/Robert Fripp-inpsired sound since the 80s and Giallo Disco recently released his stellar ambient EP Relevance & Serendipity.
Whether you're new to Giallo Disco or been following them for years, you absolutely have to dive into their new label compilation Apocalypse Domini. It's as if VHS angels of doom and dance have descended upon our pandemic-stricken world with the electro blessings and Italian straight razors. The album is 23-tracks strong and features an incredible and, within the scope of the label, varied selection of artists and tracks. Maiovvi, Vercetti and Kristian are all present, along with the likes of Ali Renault and DKMD, offering up a killer, vocal-infused remix of Mirrorball Massacre with Lady Caine. Do check that track out.
Here's the Bandcamp listing for the release, but you can certainly find this one wherever you get your music:
