It's demons galore in this 1995 Tales From the Crypt siege movie...
Yes, kiddies, in this episode of Weirdhouse Cinema, we discuss Ernest Dickerson’s 1995 siege movie Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight. Director Ernest Dickerson delivers the best of the best of the Crypt-Keeper's film projects, full of fun performances (including Dick Miller!), diverse casting, cool monsters and some religious weirdness thrown in for good measure.
Plus, it's another chance to talk about Tales From the Crypt in general. In the past, on Stuff to Blow Your Mind, we've used Halloween as an excuse to discuss scientific spins on horror anthologies. You can stream the episode above or find it in the Stuff to Blow Your Mind podcast feed wherever you get your podcasts.
And next week? We'll be leaving the 90s and traveling back to 1969 for our first Mexican film selection: Santo in the Treasure of Dracula. If you want to watch ahead, you can find streams online of this in color or black-and-white -- though the new Bluray edition is your best bet.
