Behold a film that is the culmination of all things Gremlins...
In this special holiday episode of Weirdhouse Cinema, we both misremember Gremlins 2: The New Batch as being a holiday movie and cover it anyway. But the effort was worth it! Because while it might not be an actual holiday movie, it is a film so rich in its absurdity, weirdness, toonish goofiness and cinematic love, that it almost IS a holiday unto itself. In short, Gremlins 2 is a triumph of the human spirit -- or the gremlin spirit at least.
