Tune your satellite dish to 1986 and prepare for some serious horror camp...
In this episode of Weirdhouse Cinema, we discuss Ted Nicolaou's outrageous sci-fi horror comedy TerrorVision, a film that gleefully satirizes American TV trash culture and also revels in it. For me personally, the film perfectly captures the feeling of watching tons of late-night television in the 90s – especially the kind of stuff you’d encounter on USA Up All Night (1989-1998) and other examples of late night programming. You never knew what sort of camp, sleaze, outright horror or weirdness you might encounter.
With a cast that includes Gerrit Graham and Mary Woronov, as well as creature effect by the late, great John Carl Buechler, you know you're in for a fun time.
